Why a Test Drive?

Perhaps you’ve been wondering about your current prosthesis: Does it really “keep up” with you? Is it giving you the best walking ability possible? Does your current prosthesis provide the stability you want? Are you having any problems with your sound side limb?

As you do more research and hear from others, you may be curious about the benefits of the C-Leg® . The C-Leg® test drive gives you the opportunity to feel it for yourself.

What can you expect from a Test Drive

  • Get ready to be amazed! The incredible stability and support of a
    C-Leg® Microprocessor Knee has improved the lives of 30,000 users around the
    world — it just might change yours!
  • You will have the opportunity to try the C-Leg® in your prosthetist’s office.

Your prosthetist will work with you to determine whether you are a C-Leg® or Compact candidate.

So – are you a candidate for a Microprocessor Knee Test Drive?

If your amputation is above the knee or higher, you may want to try out a C-Leg® or a Compact. If you can answer yes to at least one of these questions, you may be a Microprocessor Knee candidate:

  1. Do you independently use your prosthesis for more than transferring?
  2. Are you able to walk around your home?
  3. Are you able to walk outside of your home? For example, at the grocery store?
  4. Are you able to walk at various speeds, from slow to medium, medium to fast?
